Well here we are in week 2 of Me Made May and I’m still going strong!
DAY 8 (Tuesday)
Kicking off week two with some new makes! These are my second pair of Persephone Pants, paired here with a cropped linen Willow Tank I whipped up a week or two ago. It’s just been waiting for some high waisted paints to play with! Normally I would have worn a white top with pants this colour, but I’ve been looking for a chance to wear this new top and I really like how the colours play together!
My cardigan is an old RTW cardi, though once I got home I swapped it for my Ronan Cardigan for some extra coziness. I should really get a photo of myself in the Ronan! I also think my black ankle boots would have worked better than these brown ones, so that’s something to remember for next time!
DAY 9 (Wednesday)
Today I needed an outfit that was warm, comfortable and suitable for attending a Mother’s Day afternoon tea at my son’s preschool, so my Ronan Cardigan got a rare outing! I wear this cardigan a lot around the house, but not so much when I go out.
DAY 10 (Thursday)
I simply couldn’t resist wearing these pants again so soon! I really like this combination of colours a lot!
DAY 11 (Friday)
I nearly put on a pair of plain blue RTW jeans today, but then I looked out the window at the wet and woolly weather and decided it was a great day for my floral Gingers. I LOVE these jeans, I always feel like I have some extra pep in my step when I wear these!
DAY 12 (Saturday)
I wore this new top today, which I still need to blog about. It’s a modified Maya Top made from a cotton/silk remnant from The Fabric Store.
Maya Top | RTW Jeans | I also threw a RTW cardigan over the top when I went out because it’s not exactly t-shirt weather anymore!
DAY 13 (Sunday)
Today is Mother’s Day, but we decided to have our parents over for lunch at our place rather than brave the crowds at a restaurant somewhere, and it turned out to be a brilliant decision. I wasn’t leaving the house so I didn’t have to worry too much about weather appropriateness, and I was quite pleased with my outfit (though I would have been happier if I’d had a me-made cardigan to throw over the top!)
DAY 14 (Monday)
I got totally duped by the weather forecast this morning. I got lured into exposing my ankles by the promise of 17 degree weather, only to get outside and discover a chilly, foggy morning! Oops! I’m quite pleased with this outfit, although I would have preferred to cover up with my Blackwood Cardigan, if only it weren’t in the wash. It’s probably a fortunate accident, however, as I would have been even colder wearing that!
